🎂 Mila’s Bakery Set to Close City Centre Shop This Week
After three years nestled in Old Town Street by Drakes Circus, popular independent bakery, Mila’s Bakery is having to close their City Centre shop this week.
We ask that, if you can, to get out and try their original Bakery on Plympton Ridgeway. Their Nutella & Kinder brownies are genuinely insane too…
We must support our independents in Plymouth!
Check out their new venue here 👇
Holocaust Memorial Day is commemorated on the same day each year to remember the millions of people who were persecuted and died in the Holocaust and in subsequent genocides in Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia and Darfur.
The theme for Holocaust Memorial Day 2026, is 'Bridging Generations', this theme encourages us all to engage actively with the past - to listen, to learn and to carry those lessons forward.

After over 20 years at Derry’s Cross Plymouth’s Revolutions Bar will close with immediate effect. The owner of the Revolution bar chain has shut 21 venues with the loss of 591 jobs after the company fell into administration.
The Revel Collective, which also owns Revolucion de Cuba and Peach Pubs, had put itself up for sale in October after facing what it called "a continued period of external challenges".
